Project Malawi/Comoros
The Jeffrey Dahn Memorial Foundation was established to honor the memory of Jeffrey Dahn, KB3ZUK, SK, pictured above. Jeff was a former President of the HacDC Amateur Radio Club, which initiated Project Malawi/Comoros. The Jeffrey Dahn Learning Center is set to open in the village of Embangweni, Malawi, in 2025.
Our mentors help license new amateur radio operators in Malawi, the Comoros, and Uganda. The center will teach young people amateur radio, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math), film production, editing, and English. YOTA Teams from Malawi and the Comoros will attend the YOTA Camp in France in August 2025.
